Bachelor in Politikwissenschaft

Applications for the Sep 2027 intake close on Aug 31, 2027.

Politikwissenschaft students at the PH Freiburg engage early with the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität on modules like Internationale Politik and Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft. The first two semesters focus on foundational knowledge in the field and politics education, including the European Union, fundamental research methods, and the relevant primary-school curriculum. Students then delve into the practical aspects of teaching through an integrated semester-long teaching practice, offering them the chance to plan, evaluate, and reflect on educational practices at partner schools. Students who enjoy the practical, social, and political aspects of education will find this balance of theory and practice particularly rewarding.
