Post-16 Education

The Post-16 Education program at Beacon Hill Academy is a non-degree program for students aged 14 and 15, providing a tailored experience that prepares them for life beyond school, with a focus on personalized learning and independent living skills, lasting one year.

Students follow a flexible timetable that they help design, exploring their interests and developing new skills through community-based learning, including independent living skills, travel training, work experience, and volunteering, to prepare them for adulthood.

Graduates can pursue vocational training, apprenticeships, or further education, finding jobs in sectors like hospitality, retail, or community services, with transferable skills that enable them to adapt to different roles and industries as they enter the workforce.
