At Keyano College, tuition is CAD 8,559 per intake (domestic).

The Power Engineering - 3rd Class Co-op Program at Keyano College is a one-year, in-person certificate program designed for certified 4th Class Power Engineers. It includes four months of classroom training followed by a six-month paid co-op work term, if eligible. The program prepares students to take the 3rd Class Power Engineering certification exams and gain industry experience through hands-on training and real-world placements.

Students study high-pressure steam systems, turbines, compressors, and plant operations. They learn to operate and maintain industrial equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and interpret technical data. Training includes lab-based simulations and practical exercises that mirror real plant environments. The co-op term offers ABSA-recognized steam time and opportunities to work with licensed employers.

The program is open only to domestic students due to the co-op component. Applicants must hold an ABSA 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate and have completed Parts A & B and a 200-hour Power Lab course from a recognized institution. English proficiency is required, with minimum scores set for TOEFL iBT, IELTS, CAEL, MELAB, Duolingo, and PTE Academic.
