This program prepares students for entry into Alberta's energy and industrial sectors. It is designed for those seeking rapid employment in roles that require operating and maintaining boilers, turbines, and refrigeration systems. The course is ideal for individuals starting their career in power engineering or looking to enter the workforce quickly.

The 21-week, full-time program combines classroom theory with hands-on training. Students complete two terms of study, including a 200-hour Power Lab that provides practical experience with industry-standard equipment. This lab fulfills key requirements for ABSA 4th Class certification.

Admission requires a high school diploma or equivalent with specific courses in English, math, and science. International applicants are not accepted. The program starts in Winter 2027, with applications open. Students must complete all theory courses before registering for the Power Lab course.
