This is a two-year full-time on-campus diploma program. Students learn to operate and maintain industrial power systems, including boilers, pumps, refrigeration, and air conditioning. The program includes classroom instruction, hands-on labs, simulations, and industry work experiences. Graduates are prepared for immediate employment in power engineering roles.

Two years, full time, on-campus. Includes hands-on labs, power labs, computer simulations, and industry work experiences.

Graduates work as power engineers or process operators in utility plants, refineries, mines, chemical plants, and other industrial facilities.

Grade 12 with Foundations of Math 30 or Pre-Calculus 30 or Math B30. Minimum overall average of 65%. English language requirement. Applicants must provide proof of a current 2015 WHMIS GHS certification within the first month of the program. Prior to Year 2 lab courses, students must have a TSASK Fourth Class certificate and license.
