Graduates are qualified to work as power engineering technologists. They operate and maintain industrial power systems such as boilers, pumps, and refrigeration units. The program covers steam plant operations, controls, safety, and environmental management. Students gain hands-on experience through labs, simulations, and industry placements.

Focus areas include boiler operations, refrigeration systems, plant safety, controls and instrumentation, water treatment, pump operations.

Two years full time, 60 credits, includes hands-on labs, computer simulations, and industry work experiences.

Graduates work as power engineers or process operators in power plants, refineries, mines, and industrial facilities.

Grade 12 with Foundations of Math 30 or Pre-Calculus 30 or Math B30, minimum overall average of 65%, English language requirement. Applicants must provide proof of current WHMIS GHS certification within the first month of the program.

On-campus, full-time, two years.
