The Practical Nursing program is a two-year on-campus diploma delivered full-time. Students complete classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences in various health care settings. The program prepares students to provide nursing care across the lifespan in hospitals, long-term care, and community environments. Clinical placements occur each semester and include acute care, rehabilitation, and community-based practice.

2 years, full-time, includes clinical experiences each semester and a final preceptorship.

Graduates work as licensed practical nurses in acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and community health settings.

Grade 12 with minimum 65% average in English Language Arts 30, one of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, or Physics 30, one of Social Studies 30, History 30, or Native Studies 30, and one of Foundations of Math 30, Pre-calculus 30, or Workplace and Apprenticeship Math 30. Minimum age 18 by December 31 of admission year. IELTS or TOEFL not required but international students are not accepted at this time.
