Master in Practice Assessor Community Pgcert

At University of Hull, tuition fees are 4,383 GBP per year.

Practitioners who are ready to influence the next generation of healthcare professionals will find this programme essential for formalizing their role as a practice assessor. Designed specifically for nurses who hold Specialist Practitioner Qualifications (SPQ) and Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) credentials, this certificate bridges the gap between clinical expertise and pedagogical leadership.

By integrating campus-based study days with immersive, work-based learning, the course allows you to maintain your current professional commitments while meeting the rigorous standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You will engage in a variety of learning environments—including workshops, group discussions, and lead lectures—supported by a virtual learning platform that provides flexibility for busy schedules.

Clinical and Educational Integration

The programme avoids a purely theoretical approach by placing you with an experienced Practice Assessor who acts as a mentor, guiding your development as you supervise students and evaluate their clinical competence. This hands-on experience ensures that you are fully prepared to be annotated onto your employing organisation's register upon graduation, marking a significant step forward in your career as a clinical educator or manager.
