Bachelor in Praxissemester 1

During Praxissemester 1, students complete a 20-week internship at an industrial partner, with at least 95 days at a single site, followed by two weeks of block courses at the university. Students have free choice of a project in manufacturing, design, testing, quality, or logistics.

This semester integrates students into professional practice, and is supported by block courses on development and project organisation, ethics in technology, and environmental safety.

Outcomes

Praxissemester is designed to reinforce lecture content, and help students choose a future career. The project-based work and teamwork within a company will also develop students' professional competencies.
