For Diploma, tuition is CAD 7,999 per term.

The Primary Care Paramedic Diploma program prepares students for a career in emergency and non-emergency patient care across various healthcare settings. It is designed for individuals who want to work as entry-level paramedics in ambulance services, hospitals, community care, industrial sites, and remote locations. Students must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license to apply.

The program combines online theory with hands-on training through in-person labs, simulations, and practicum placements. Students learn patient assessment, clinical decision-making, pharmacology, and communication skills. They complete two supervised practicums totaling 432 hours, including ambulance ride-alongs and placements in long-term care facilities.

Admission requires a high school diploma with a minimum 65% average and specific course marks in English, biology, science or chemistry, and math. International applicants are not eligible. The program runs over five terms, with mandatory Technical Learning Weeks on the Fort McMurray campus each semester.
