Bachelor in Projekte (bachelor)

Graduates of the Projekte module within the Angewandte Informatik (Öffentlicher Dienst) dual B.Sc have gone on to work in the public sector, often in roles that require a high level of technical expertise in software development and IT services.

Students completing this module will have explored various projects in the programme, including the Girls' Day Gaming Lab, where the Computer-Pool of the Hochschule Mainz transformed into a game development workshop. Additionally, students have worked on a Flutter app for digital documentation of home visits by volunteer hospice companions. This practical experience is crucial for students aiming to secure roles as IT specialists or developers within the public sector. These projects are often supported by partnerships with local and regional organizations, providing students with real-world experience and networking opportunities.
