Graduates of the MSc Prosthodontics can broaden the prosthetic services offered in their own practice, take up specialist posts in hospital oral-health departments or community dental services, and move on to research or doctoral programmes that lead to academic or consultant careers.

The programme’s distinctive element is the 20-day supervised clinical placement in the university Dental Clinic, complemented by extensive hands-on training in a modern phantom-head laboratory and dedicated clinical training bays. Teaching is delivered partly through an online platform, allowing students to combine study with ongoing clinical work, while all practical sessions are overseen by experienced consultants.

You will plan, prepare and deliver prosthodontic treatment for referred patients each week under direct clinical supervision, while completing online lectures and research assignments.
