The Master in Protestant Theology at Heidelberg University is a 3-year degree for students passionate about Christian religions and their historical contexts. This program helps students develop critical thinking and analysis skills. It's ideal for those who want to explore theological science and prepare for roles within the church and beyond.

Students study subjects like Old and New Testament exegesis, church history, and systematic theology. They also gain practical skills through a community internship, which helps them understand pastoral work. This hands-on experience combines with academic training to prepare graduates for modern religious contexts.

Graduates often become pastors, religious educators, or theologians. They may also work in academic research or interfaith dialogue. Other career options include social workers, community service workers, and educators. These roles value the skills and knowledge gained during the program.
