Bachelor in Psychology

For Bachelor in Psychology, tuition comes to 8,000 USD per year.

Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes, covering areas such as cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, personality theory, and abnormal psychology. Students typically learn research methods and statistics alongside theoretical coursework, developing the ability to design studies, analyze data, and critically evaluate psychological research. Programs often include coursework in neuroscience, learning theory, and psychological assessment, along with practical training in observation and interviewing techniques. Some programs offer supervised practicum experiences that expose students to counseling, clinical, or organizational settings, though licensure for clinical practice typically requires further graduate study. Graduates pursue careers in human resources, market research, education, social services, and as assistants in clinical or counseling settings, while many continue to graduate programs in clinical, counseling, or organizational psychology. This bachelor's program is delivered in English over 4 years at Başkent University in Ankara, Turkey. As a second intake of the same discipline, the program follows the standard psychology curriculum structure used across Turkish universities offering English-taught degrees.
