Psikoloji

A degree in Psychology examines the scientific principles underlying human thought, emotion, and behavior, drawing on biology, statistics, and social science methods. Coursework generally spans developmental psychology, personality theory, social psychology, and introductory clinical topics, paired with statistics and research methodology classes that teach students to design and interpret studies. Many programs include supervised practical components, such as observation exercises or small research projects, to build applied skills alongside theory. Career options for psychology graduates include roles in human resources, education support, market research, and community or social services, with further study required for licensed therapy or clinical work. Offered in English at Istanbul Nişantaşı University in İstanbul, Turkey, this bachelor's program runs for 4 years. İstanbul's scale and diversity provide a useful backdrop for coursework that touches on social behavior and cultural context. Over the course of the program, students typically build from foundational psychology courses toward more advanced and elective topics, allowing some specialization by the later years. The English-taught format is aimed at students seeking an internationally accessible psychology education while studying in Turkey. Graduates leave with both a conceptual understanding of psychological theory and practical research skills, positioning them for entry-level roles in fields where understanding human behavior is valuable, as well as for further academic pursuit of psychology at the graduate level.
