Bachelor in Psychology

At Üsküdar University, tuition fees are 4,900 USD per year.

Psychology studies the mind and behavior using both theoretical frameworks and empirical research methods, covering areas such as perception, cognition, emotion, development, and social interaction. Undergraduate coursework typically spans cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, personality theory, and the biological foundations of behavior, alongside training in statistics and research design that allows students to plan and analyze psychological studies. Many programs also cover clinical and counseling frameworks, introducing students to how psychology is applied in assessment and support settings, while professional clinical practice itself typically requires further supervised training after graduation. Research and laboratory coursework are common features, giving students practical experience with experimental design, data collection, and statistical analysis that carry over into many career paths. Graduates often continue to graduate study toward clinical or counseling licensure, or move into roles in human resources, education, research, and social services, depending on the specific coursework and research experience they pursue during the degree. This bachelor's program is taught in English over 4 years at Üsküdar University, in İstanbul, Turkey. The English-medium curriculum gives students access to psychological research and terminology largely published in English, supporting further study or work in international settings after graduation. Across the four years, the program moves from broad foundational courses across the field toward more specialized electives selected by the student.
