Psikoloji

Psychology examines human behavior, cognition, and emotion through both theoretical study and empirical research methods. Students study developmental, cognitive, social, and clinical psychology, along with research methods and statistics, learning to design studies and interpret psychological data. Coursework typically progresses from introductory theories of mind and behavior through specialized areas such as abnormal psychology, personality theory, and counseling techniques, often supported by supervised practical or research experience. Graduates pursue careers in counseling, human resources, education, market research, and social services, with further specialization possible through graduate study toward clinical or organizational psychology practice. This bachelor's program spans 4 years and is taught in English at Ankara Bilim University, located in Ankara, Turkey. English-medium instruction gives students access to the research literature and assessment tools that form the basis of the field internationally. Ankara, as Turkey's capital and a center for research institutions, provides a setting connected to academic and public sector activity relevant to psychological work. The program combines theoretical grounding in psychological science with research training, preparing graduates for further study or entry-level roles that draw on an understanding of human behavior.
