Bachelor in Psychology

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior, covering how people think, feel, and act individually and in groups. Core areas of study typically include developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, and research methods and statistics. Students learn to design and interpret psychological studies, apply theoretical frameworks to real-world behavior, and gain exposure to assessment techniques used in clinical and organizational settings. Coursework often includes topics such as personality theory, learning and memory, and the biological basis of behavior. Graduates pursue careers in counseling, human resources, education, market research, and social services, or continue into graduate training toward licensure as clinical or counseling psychologists. This bachelor's program runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Istanbul Medipol University in İstanbul, Turkey.
