Master in Psychology

Tuition is 8,085 PLN per year.

Kazimierz Wielki University offers a master's program in Psychology taught in English over 5 years, with yearly tuition of 8085 PLN. The program follows a three-track structure, offering specializations in Clinical Psychology, Applied Social Psychology, and Developmental Support. Each track aims to give students a theoretical background for research within their chosen area, along with skills relevant to work across different areas of psychology, with particular emphasis on the interplay between theory and practice. The Master of Arts degree prepares graduates for entry-level careers in mental health, schools and private industry, and in some fields of applied psychology it can lead to a license to practice. The program can serve as a gateway into the human services field or as a first step toward doctoral study. Students gain both theoretical and practical understanding of psychological principles within a program that carries a strong clinical emphasis. Coursework covers various aspects of the art and science of psychology as applied to understanding human behavior, delivered through lectures, exercises and seminars, with an emphasis on practical application, since that matters for students' future careers. Teaching makes use of contemporary training aids, including multimedia presentations and computer simulations, supported by appropriate conditions for learning. Psychology programs structured this way, spanning five years and covering clinical, social and developmental tracks, prepare graduates for a wide range of paths, from clinical practice and counseling to research, human resources and further postgraduate study in psychology or related social sciences.
