About the Program

University of Warsaw offers a master's program in Psychology, known as WISP, taught in English over 5 years. Psychology at the University of Warsaw is a full five-year program leading to a magister degree. The main goal of the WISP program is to provide psychology education for both foreign students and Polish students fluent in English who see their future careers on an international scene. Students in the program represent many countries across four continents, including Sweden, the USA, China, Germany and Turkmenistan. Teaching is carried out by a team of Polish and foreign lecturers invited from research institutes and universities in Europe and North America, including the University of Delaware, the University of Michigan in the USA, Université Paris X - Nanterre in France, and Maastricht University in the Netherlands, among others. The program is designed to give students a solid background in psychology and the methodology of social sciences, while also allowing them to shape an education path close to their own interests. A five-year, English-language psychology program with an internationally drawn faculty and student body offers a route into psychological science that combines methodological training with exposure to varied academic traditions from across Europe and North America. Graduates typically pursue further doctoral study, applied psychology roles, or careers in research, healthcare, education or organizational settings, drawing on a program structure designed for students aiming at international careers. More information about the WISP program is available at http://www.psychology.pl/.
