Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program

Tuition is Tuition for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs have been reduced beginning in the Fall 2024 semester, making them comparable to similar nursing programs in the Lehigh Valley. (*Note: ABSN and CRNA programs not included*).

This program is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing designed to prepare professional nurses grounded in liberal arts. It emphasizes hands-on learning through a simulation center and offers extensive clinical opportunities across various patient care settings. Students gain practical experience and develop competence, care, and compassion.

Focus areas include 3 Year Full-time Option, Full-Time Program Option, Part-Time Day Program Option, Part-Time Evening/Weekend Program Option, Accelerated BSN Program (ABSN) Program Option.

The curriculum builds on liberal arts foundations, incorporating classroom and clinical work. It includes a total of 819 clinical/laboratory hours and 105 clinical hours in Independent Practicum.

Cedar Crest Select offers direct admission for students with an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher, 1 year of Biology, 1 year of Chemistry, 1 year of advanced science, and completion of an interview. The Accelerated BSN Program is for second-degree students only.

The program offers traditional full-time and part-time study options with various start terms. Full-time and part-time options take 2 years to complete, while the Accelerated BSN takes 15 months. Attendance in summer semesters is required for the Part-Time Program Option. For international students, tuition is well above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 99% of applicants.

Cedar Crest College brings a long-running academic tradition to a historic campus in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
