About Respiratory Therapy Advanced Diploma

The Respiratory Therapy advanced diploma program is a two-and-a-half-year on-campus program delivered full-time at the Regina campus. It combines theory and hands-on training using simulation and real-world clinical experiences. Students learn to assess and manage respiratory conditions across all age groups. The program includes five clinical practicums in hospitals and community settings.

Two-and-a-half years, full-time, on-campus, includes five clinical practicums.

Graduates work as respiratory therapists in acute care, community care, and diagnostic laboratories.

Grade 12 with a minimum average of 70% in English Language Arts 30, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and either Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30. International students must meet program-specific English language requirements. Required documents include a Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, First Aid, CPR BLS-HCP, N95 fit testing, WHMIS certification, and TLR® certification.

On-campus, full-time, two-and-a-half years.
