The programme includes two residential weeks in Birmingham, giving students hands-on tuition in the simulation suite of the £50 million School of Dentistry. Graduates are able to pursue roles such as consultant in Restorative Dentistry, specialist dentist, clinical lecturer or locum consultant, and many join NHS trusts, private practices or university departments.

The MSc runs over two years on a part-time basis. Year 1 builds a foundation in digital photography, occlusal anatomy and posterior composite restorations, while Year 2 advances to complex indirect restorations, implant planning and a portfolio-driven assessment. Flexible online lectures and practical assignments support autonomous study.
