    About Bachelor of Social Work

Tuition is CAD 7,500 per year.

This programme lets students with prior college or university experience transfer credits toward a Bachelor of Social Work. The degree can be completed in two years using previous academic work. It is for those who have finished programs like Social Service Worker, Addiction and Mental Health Worker, or Early Childhood Education.

Field placements give hands-on experience linking classroom learning to real-world practice. Credit transfers depend on GPA: a 3.30 or higher gets up to 60 credits, lower GPAs get up to 45 or 15 credits. Placement hours are reduced for those with prior experience, requiring only 350 hours for those transferring SWRK4600.

Admission is open to high school graduates, college students, university students, and mature applicants. The programme starts in the Fall term. Applications must be submitted through the official application portal. No English proficiency test is needed if studies were in English at a recognized institution.
