Spanish beginner plus (Entry 2)

The Spanish beginner plus program at Belfast Metropolitan College is for students who have some basic knowledge of Spanish and want to improve their skills. This non-degree program takes one year to complete and is taught in English. Students build on their existing knowledge and gain more confidence in using Spanish.

The curriculum covers more advanced Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Students develop their skills through group work, presentations, and projects. They also explore Spanish literature, history, and culture in more depth.

After completing this program, students can work as translators, interpreters, or language teachers. They can also pursue jobs in international trade, diplomacy, or journalism where Spanish language skills are essential. Potential employers include government agencies, non-profit organizations, and media companies.
