Summer Courses

The Summer Courses at The Hague Academy of International Law are designed for students and practitioners with a foundational knowledge of international law. Held at the historic Peace Palace, these courses provide an opportunity to deepen your understanding of Public and Private International Law. Each session lasts three weeks, with the first focusing on Public International Law and the second on Private International Law. This program is ideal for those who thrive in an academic environment and seek to engage with leading experts in the field.

During the Summer Courses, participants will attend a General Course that spans the full three weeks, complemented by Special Courses that cover six distinct topics. The curriculum includes lectures from renowned academics and practitioners, as well as afternoon seminars and guest lectures. This structure not only enhances theoretical knowledge but also equips students with practical insights, preparing them for the evolving landscape of international law.
