Teaching Artist

This program is designed for dance artists who wish to share their passion for dance through teaching. It combines artistic practice with educational training, preparing students to become versatile Teaching Artists. Ideal candidates are those with a secondary arts diploma and professional dance experience, eager to engage in the educational and artistic sectors.

Students will develop a broad range of artistic, pedagogical, and cultural competencies. The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical components, allowing students to create their own teaching philosophy. Individual coaching is provided to cater to personal learning paths, ensuring that each student can thrive in their unique educational journey.

Graduates can pursue various roles such as Dance Educator, Arts Coordinator, or Teaching Artist in schools and community programs.
