If you are currently teaching, tutoring or training groups of students in higher education and hold at least a second-class honours degree, this Postgraduate Certificate offers a way to deepen your pedagogic practice.

The programme consists of weekly online lectures and recorded sessions, plus live Thursday-evening tutorials, enabling you to fit study around full-time employment. Continuous assessment through reflective exercises, peer triads and the development of a case study forms the core of weekly work.

In Semester 1 you will study the module Effective Teaching and Learning (15 credits), where you examine contemporary theories and design student-centred curricula, while Semester 2’s Assessment and Feedback to Support Student Learning (15 credits) includes the opportunity to earn a Universal Design for Learning digital badge recognised by the National Forum for Enhancement in Teaching & Learning.
