Bachelor in Technical Medicine

The Bachelor in Technical Medicine is a 3-year program taught in Dutch at 4TU in The Netherlands, combining medicine and technology to prepare students for innovative diagnostics and treatment methods. This program helps students become the doctors of the future.

The curriculum includes team projects applying knowledge to real-life medical cases, studying human body systems and disorders, and exploring how technology enhances diagnosis and treatment. The program features internships at over thirty hospitals for practical experience.

Graduates can pursue careers as technical physicians in hospitals, as well as clinical specialists, biomedical engineers, and healthcare managers. They may work in departments like radiology, neurology, and surgery, and can also explore positions in medical technology consulting or research.
