UniCamillus offers the X Ciclo specialisation programme, which has 1,600 places, including 250 for the school of infancy, 250 for the primary school, 300 for the secondary school of I grade, and 800 for the secondary school of II grade. This programme is designed to qualify and valorise the acquisition of disciplinary, psycho-pedagogical, methodological-didactic, organisational, and relational competencies. These are necessary to help students with disabilities reach the learning outcomes prescribed by the current regulations.

The programme is part of a broader initiative by the UniCamillus University to address the widespread shortage of specialised teachers for supporting students with disabilities across all educational levels. The programme is structured to include a preselective test, a written test, and an oral test. The written test is scheduled for July 2025, with specific dates for each school level, and will take place at the UniCamillus campus in Rome.

The programme is highly selective, with candidates being evaluated on their didactic, empathy, creativity, organisational, and legal competencies. Successful candidates must achieve at least 21/30 in both the written and oral tests, and their final ranking will also consider their accumulated scores from these tests and their academic titles.
