Bachelor in Tourism Management

From day one, you'll start the Tourism Management programme by learning how tourism works globally, locally in Zeeland, and its impact on the economy, people, nature, and culture. Not just a theoretical exercise, you'll design a promotional concept for Zeeland, a key tourist spot in the Netherlands. The curriculum emphasizes creating sustainable and memorable experiences for visitors, residents, and the planet.

In the second year, you'll explore the influences of various cultures on tourism, how to design unique tourism experiences, and you'll participate in a project where you start a real business. In the third year, you choose a minor, which can be taken in the Netherlands or abroad. The fourth year is dedicated to your graduation project and a professional internship, with the option to personalize your graduation to focus on practical or theoretical aspects. Throughout the programme, there's a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship, with opportunities to develop business ideas and gain experience in creating and running your own tourism ventures.
