Uniformed Services Intermediate

The Uniformed Services Intermediate program is a one-year non-degree course at Bedford College, designed for students interested in careers in the uniformed services. It's ideal for those who thrive in active environments and seek hands-on experiences, with a focus on outdoor activities, fitness training, and team-building events.

The curriculum includes subjects like Service Routine, Equality and Diversity, and Physical Preparation. Students will participate in practical assessments, discussions, and presentations, developing essential skills like teamwork, navigation, and health and safety. They will also learn from instructors with real-world experience in these fields.

Graduates can pursue roles like police officers, firefighters, or members of the armed forces. The skills acquired during the course are transferable across various sectors, providing a solid foundation for further education or employment. Successful completion of this program also allows students to progress to the Uniformed Public Services Level 3 course.
