Engineers who thrive in this programme are those who enjoy bridging the gap between theoretical physics and tangible, real-world application. This degree is crafted for students eager to master the machinery that powers modern life—from sophisticated medical equipment and power generation systems to the intricate robotics that drive global manufacturing.

What distinguishes this programme is its intense focus on the practical, hands-on realities of the industry. You will spend your time mastering the same computer-based tools and manufacturing systems used by professionals, including advanced Computer Aided Design (CAD), industrial pneumatics, and data-driven maintenance strategies. A core feature of the curriculum is the 20-week work placement in Year 3, which integrates you directly into an engineering organisation, ensuring that when you graduate, you are not just academically qualified but professionally battle-tested.

Practical Engineering Mastery

We believe in learning by doing.
