Each week you will spend time in dedicated HCI labs and the Imaginarium, developing low- and high-fidelity prototypes, running user-research sessions and analysing the data. Lectures introduce theory, while lab sessions let you apply methods such as usability testing, eye-tracking and interaction design on real-world case studies. The course also includes a dissertation-style Master's project where you create a full UX solution for an industry partner.

The MSc welcomes graduates from computer science, design, media, psychology and related fields who have at least a 2:2 honours degree and some programming experience. It is delivered full-time over one year, split into seven taught modules followed by a final project. Part-time or sandwich routes are available, extending the study period and allowing a professional placement of six to twelve months.
