Bachelor in Voice studies

Tuition fees are 39,000 PLN per year.

Voice studies at the Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw is a bachelor's programme taught in English, completed over three years, or six semesters. The Vocal Faculty trains singers for solo stage performance and for teaching vocal instruction. At bachelor's level, the curriculum covers specialised subjects including solo singing, stage movement, fundamental acting skills, vocal-and-acting scenes, general music-related subjects and arts, and a group of pedagogical subjects preparing students to teach. Annual tuition for the programme is 39000 PLN. Voice studies as a discipline trains singers in technique, repertoire, and performance craft, combining individual vocal lessons with ensemble work, music theory, and stagecraft. Students typically study a range of vocal repertoire spanning different periods and styles, alongside acting and movement training that supports opera and stage performance. Music academies of this kind also place emphasis on collaborative performance, giving students the chance to work alongside instrumentalists, conductors, and directors as they prepare staged productions and recitals. Graduates of voice studies programmes commonly pursue careers as solo or ensemble singers in opera houses, concert halls, and theatres, as well as roles in vocal teaching and coaching, drawing on the pedagogical subjects built into the curriculum. Some graduates move into arts administration or continue their studies at master's level to specialise further in a particular vocal repertoire or performance tradition. Wroclaw itself has an active music and cultural scene, giving students in the programme opportunities to attend and take part in performances beyond their coursework, supporting their development as professional vocalists over their three years of study.
