Bachelor in Vroedkunde

Tuition is 7,760 EUR per year.

Students who thrive here are those who enjoy caring for people, are socially skilled, and have a strong sense of responsibility. They gain essential skills such as performing verloskundige onderzoeken and assisting with bevallingen, and build a strong theoretical foundation in modules such as anatomie, fysiologie, and embryologie, which they immediately apply in practical settings. You will be immersed in a combination of theory and practice from day one, with half of the program consisting of practical modules and stages. The program includes stages in hospitals and home care, and you will accompany a couple from the beginning of their pregnancy until one year after the birth, providing a comprehensive understanding of the entire process. Your personal and professional development is central to the learning process, and you will compile your experiences and reflections in an online portfolio.
