This programme trains students in welding and fabrication techniques using practical and theoretical skills. It focuses on working with various materials and welding processes in industrial settings. Students learn to read technical drawings and operate welding equipment. They gain hands-on experience in building and assembling components according to industry standards.

Focus areas include Welding Processes, Fabrication, Technical Drawing, Safety Standards, Metalworking, Industrial Design.

3 years (4 steps), full-time, on-campus, includes a practicum.

Graduates work as welders, fabricators, or welding inspectors in manufacturing, construction, mining, forestry, and specialized fields like underwater or laser welding.

Certificate in Welding Practice (2 steps) or equivalent; or Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), ACE certificate, or adult applicant status; one credit in French (FIF3U, FRA3C, FRA3U, FIF4U, FRA4C, FRA4U or equivalent); one credit in math (MCR3U, MBF3C, MCF3M, MAP4C, MCT4C or equivalent); international applicants must provide English language proficiency if they do not have an OSSD.

On-campus, full-time, 3 years.
