This program is delivered on-campus over two semesters. It trains students in welding processes, blueprint reading, and safety standards. Students develop practical and theoretical skills for careers in manufacturing and construction. The program prepares students for certification tests with the Canadian Welding Bureau and TSSA.

Graduates enter careers in manufacturing plants, construction companies, mining companies, agricultural companies, the forestry sector, and roles requiring specialized welding techniques such as laser or underwater welding.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ACE certificate, or equivalent. 1 French credit and 1 mathematics credit required. English language proficiency test required if OSSD not obtained. Admission code PSOU, CIP code 48.0508.
