This research Master's opens focused study of how animals evolved, function and interact with their environment — projects across anatomy, physiology, behaviour, ecology, evolution and conservation that deepen our understanding of animal diversity.

Beyond the specialist subject skills, students build transferable strengths in problem-solving and communication under academic supervision, within the Department of Life Sciences' five research groups. Applicants are advised to find a topic and matching supervisor first; applications are welcome year-round with flexible enrolment alongside the October and January intakes.
