Master in Barch Honours Architecture

Tuition fees for Master in Barch Honours Architecture are 18,900 GBP per year.

Architecture is fundamentally a discipline of social and environmental responsibility, requiring a delicate balance between human aspiration and the physical constraints of our world. This BArch (Honours) Architecture programme positions students at the heart of this challenge, fostering a community of practitioners who are as digitally proficient as they are socially conscious. By moving beyond traditional design, the course integrates environmental performance with creative inquiry to address the complexities of modern building design.

Applied Learning in Context

The programme distinguishes itself through an intensive focus on applied learning. Rather than abstract theory, students engage with real-world projects that demand critical thinking, technical rigour, and a deep understanding of urban and domestic contexts. Key features include:

• State-of-the-art facilities: Full access to design studios, digital fabrication machines, and specialist modelling equipment.
• Industry Connectivity: Strong ties with UK-leading architectural practices, offering professional engagement through guest lectures and a dedicated placement year.
• Sustainability at the Core: Environmental design is embedded across all modules, challenging students to tackle the climate emergency through innovative, data-rich architectural solutions.

Students leave the programme not just as designers, but as architects equipped with the technical skills—from CAD to BIM—and the ethical framework necessary to shape the future of the built environment.
