Master in Advanced Cyber Security Digital Forensics Msc

At Leeds Beckett University, tuition fees are 10,400 GBP per year.

Engage directly with the university's proprietary Hacktivity system, a bespoke environment designed to bridge the gap between abstract theory and the realities of modern digital defense. This master's programme is tailored for those looking to deepen their technical expertise in the high-stakes worlds of cyber security and digital forensics, moving beyond fundamental undergraduate concepts into the complexities of real-world system exploitation and investigative analysis.

Students are encouraged to think like both an attacker and an investigator, gaining hands-on proficiency in reverse engineering, malware analysis, and image/video forensic processing. You will work within a rigorous academic framework that emphasizes not only the technical "how-to"—such as debugging assembly code or conducting fuzz-testing—but also the professional, ethical, and legal justifications required for high-level security practice. By collaborating with local and national industry partners, the curriculum ensures that your skills remain aligned with current industry demands, culminating in an original research dissertation that allows you to contribute new insights to the field.
