MEng Aerospace Engineering

The tuition fee is 25,808 GBP per year.

Aspiring engineers who are driven to shape the future of flight, space exploration, and sustainable technology will find a rigorous intellectual home in this programme. Students here develop the technical acumen necessary to design, develop, and build everything from complex aircraft to orbital satellites, positioning themselves at the forefront of one of the world's fastest-growing engineering sectors.

This MEng degree is distinctive for its seamless integration of core mechanical engineering principles with the specialised demands of the aeronautical industry. By blending foundational engineering science with advanced, research-led applications, learners build a robust capacity to solve real-world problems. The programme is designed to cultivate both analytical precision and creative design skills, ensuring graduates are prepared for high-impact roles in a global market.

Hands-on Technical Mastery

The curriculum emphasizes the practical application of theory, granting students access to industry-standard facilities that bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice. You will work with:

• Advanced wind tunnels and supersonic test rigs.
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software.
• Finite element analysis tools.
• Computer-aided design (CAD) systems.

By the final year, students engage in a major aerospace design project, synthesizing their entire academic journey into a professional-grade engineering solution, ensuring they graduate not just with a degree, but with a portfolio of complex, industry-relevant accomplishments.
