Master in AI-Driven Mechatronics and Robotics (Mechatronics and Robotics Study Track)

AI-Driven Mechatronics and Robotics is a study track within the Mechatronics and Robotics Master's programme at Leibniz University Hannover. It is aimed at graduates who want to build deep expertise in complex mechatronic systems that sit at the intersection of mechanics, electrical engineering, and computer science. Students develop the ability to analyse and describe how mechanical, electrical, and information technology components interact within these systems, and to design, model, construct, implement, and test mechatronic solutions for a wide range of applications. The programme runs over 4 semesters, with entry available in both the winter and summer semester. Students build competence in integrating methods from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science to solve technical problems, and develop scientific working practices that include independent research planning, execution, and critical analysis of results. Applicants should note that admission is made under the degree programme title Mechatronics and Robotics; students are then assigned to the AI-Driven track within that programme. The programme is taught in English at Leibniz University Hannover in Hannover.
