Bachelor in Applied Computer Science (BACS)

Each week you will work on programming assignments, collaborate in team projects, attend labs that explore algorithms, data structures and web development, and take part in design workshops that turn ideas into functional prototypes. The curriculum includes a semester-long co-op placement where you apply your coding skills in a professional environment and can earn up to $10,000 per work term, building a portfolio of real-world projects.

The programme focuses on applying computational thinking to real-world problems. You study core computer-science topics such as data structures, software engineering, human-computer interaction, cloud computing and information retrieval, while also covering business, communication and ethical issues. You also explore emerging technologies through optional certificates in AI, cybersecurity, data science and more.
