Applied Construction Design

The Applied Construction Design program at UCOL is designed for students interested in the fields of construction and design. This Level 3 program is perfect for secondary school learners who want to explore their career options while gaining practical experience. The program runs for half a year, with classes held on Fridays, allowing students to balance their studies with other commitments.

Students will engage in hands-on learning, including a mini build project that helps them understand the basics of construction design. The curriculum covers essential topics such as working drawings, technical drawings, and building calculations. By completing this program, students will earn 23 credits and gain foundational skills that prepare them for further studies in architectural drafting or quantity surveying.

Graduates of the Applied Construction Design program can pursue various job roles, including architectural drafting and quantity surveying.
