Bachelor in Architecture

Architecture combines the design of buildings with an understanding of structural systems, materials, and the social and environmental context in which structures are built. Programs in this field are typically organized around a sequence of design studio courses, in which students develop architectural projects from initial concept through detailed design, supported by coursework in construction technology, architectural history and theory, and structural principles. Drawing, model making, and increasingly computer-aided design and building information modeling are common technical skills developed throughout the program.
