Experimental Studio Culture

The course functions as a laboratory for architectural thought, encouraging students to move beyond traditional building design to investigate the political, economic, and technological forces shaping our world. You will work within the vibrant Leeds School of Arts, benefiting from an interdisciplinary environment that fosters collaboration across media, humanities, and creative technologies. The programme is distinguished by its high-intensity studio culture, where one-to-one critiques and peer-led discourse push your design research to its conceptual limits.

Students gain access to dedicated multimedia studios, advanced 3D fabrication workshops, and a 24/7 library, all supported by an active guest lecture series featuring international voices in contemporary architecture. This is a programme for those who wish to challenge the conventions of the built environment and define the next generation of urban and speculative design.
