Bachelor in Architecture

Architecture is the study of designing and planning buildings and the spaces around them, combining technical knowledge of construction and materials with creative design thinking. Coursework typically covers design studio projects, structural systems, building technology, architectural history, and computer-aided design tools, alongside urban planning principles and sustainability concepts. Studio-based learning is central to the discipline, with students developing design proposals that are reviewed and critiqued by faculty throughout their studies. Graduates pursue careers as architects, urban designers, interior architects, and construction project managers, or continue into licensure and postgraduate specialization. This bachelor program is delivered in English over 4 years at Istanbul Kültür University in İstanbul, Turkey, giving international students the chance to study architecture within a Turkish academic setting while using English as the language of instruction throughout coursework and design studios.
