Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering

Tuition costs 25,000 USD per year.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering examines how large volumes of data can be collected, processed, and turned into predictive models and automated systems. Students work across machine learning, statistics, algorithms, and software engineering, learning to design pipelines that clean and structure raw data before applying models for classification, forecasting, and optimization. Typical coursework covers programming fundamentals, linear algebra and probability, database systems, neural networks, natural language processing, computer vision, and the ethical and practical limits of automated decision-making. Students also build practical experience through projects that combine data engineering tasks, such as building pipelines and managing storage systems, with the design and evaluation of learning models. Group projects and capstone work often ask students to take a real dataset from collection through to a working prototype, exposing them to the full lifecycle of an AI system rather than isolated theory. Graduates pursue careers as data engineers, machine learning engineers, AI researchers, and analysts across technology, finance, healthcare, logistics, and retail sectors, where organizations increasingly depend on automated systems to process information at scale. This bachelor program is offered by Özyeğin University in İstanbul, Turkey, and is taught in English over a duration of 4 years. Students benefit from a curriculum that blends computer science fundamentals with applied statistics, preparing them for both further graduate study and direct entry into technical roles. The İstanbul setting places students within a large and active technology sector, offering exposure to companies working in software, finance, and emerging digital industries throughout their studies.
