Bachelor Maschinenbau (B.Eng.)

Tuition fees are 350 EUR per year.

The Bachelor Maschinenbau programme at the Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena starts with an on-campus Vorpraktikum that provides insight into the technical processes of a company.

The programme combines a solid theoretical foundation with practical experience, including a semester-long industrial placement, and focuses on developing products and processes for cost, time, and energy efficiency. Students are immersed in the development of practical skills through hands-on training with cutting-edge tools and in the lab. The programme also includes modules in foreign languages and business management, preparing graduates for diverse roles in industry.

The curriculum includes a broad range of modules, from basic sciences to advanced engineering topics, culminating in a thesis that demonstrates the student's ability to solve complex engineering problems.
